A year after explosions: 'We actually don't need those gas pipelines anymore'

The Nord Stream gas pipelines were severely damaged after an explosion a year ago. After an investigation, many fingers point to Ukraine as responsible, but that is not certain. What are the consequences of this sabotage? "We remain vulnerable, but on the other hand, no one expected that Europe could absorb the lack of gas so quickly."
