'America will not put up with it for much longer': Trump hits out at Zelenskyy again | Sky News |

Donald Trump has hit out at Volodymyr Zelenskyy once again.
Speaking on Truth Social, the US president said the Ukrainian leader made "the worst statement that could have been made" when saying that the end of the war with Russia is "very, very far away".

Zelenskyy: 'End of war is very, very far away'

A deal to end the war is still "very, very far away", Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said, adding he expects to keep receiving US support despite his public spat with Donald Trump last week.

"I think our relationship (with the US) will continue, because it's more than an occasional relationship," the Ukrainian president said.

"It is what I was saying, this guy doesn't want there to be peace as long as he has America's backing," Trump added.

"What are they thinking?" he also asked, appearing to criticise European leaders for saying they "cannot do the job without the US".
