I don't believe any rational person should place a comment on this diary, but i did wish to create a safe, healing place for those who believe it's a bit over the edge out there.

I should have been there sooner,so I missed the first half, but I just saw a sizeable chunk of Altman's A Prairie Home Companion.

Did me a world of good.

Tommy Lee Jones (the Evangelical-corporate Axeman) who is escorted to a fall off a cliff by Miss Death, looked like Rupert Murdoch. Kevin Kline, who plays a useless theatre manager, looks like Charlie Chaplin. Meryl Streep and Lily Tomlin sing in harmony a deadpan and lengthy song about how they miss their mom, that plumbs McGonagall depths. Every shot, every sequence, breathes. I love Altman.

When i was initially reviewing my rationale for posting this diary, i was, to me, obviously,  trying to underscore the seriousness with which ET is attempting to bring its rational voice into the world of Serious.

Then i noticed on Facecrack that one of my friends had been voted into the top 100 most irrelevant people in the world. AND I MISREAD IT AS TOP 100 MOST IRREVERANT!!!

So of course you can imagine my lack of disrespection. and then i found the be-all-end-whup on the banking meltdown.
