Helen was one of the early active members of this site, and she had a not insignificant influence on its tone, direction and content over the years.
It is with shock and sadness that we have found out from a relative on Facebook that she died on Boxing Day after a short illness.
Use this as a memorial thread for Helen. We may post more details about her death as we know them, with due care to respect her family's desire for privacy.
