Thanks for an important reminder. The path to peace was well on its way in 1995 when extremism struck at the heart of the peace-process and put it on hold indefinitely.

Now we don't know when or indeed if there will be a
lasting peace in the region. All we can do is hope.

Sad memories indeed. And the worst is that Rabin was succeeded by Netanyahu, who as it turns out is even more rabid than Sharon.
