Who is the man on the picture?

It's Loïc Lemeur^TM, France's number one blogger (in terms of visitors, as repeatedly attested by French blog rankings).

His blog, which I will not link to, features regular podcasts showing him interviewing various politicians, going for a jog, looking clueless, repeating that he's a great entrepreneur, etc

Its content is somewhat megalomaniac, frankly. What's more, this man recently announced he would vote for Sarkozy, as if we care (see my comment on this here).

And since then he's dropped his "neutrality" (he had pretended to be supermega-neutral up to then) and started distributing moralizing words against the Left. For instance, his latest article on the Socialist TV debate said: "we all live in precarity, life is precarity, competition is everywhere [..] so it's not by always worrying about protecting ourselves that we will succeed"

Is this the kind of man we want to top hit-parades on French blogging? No.

So this is a call to action. It would be great if as many of you as possible could, regardless of whether you actually speak French, connect once in a while to the following parody site, which is quite good, and which takes care of rewriting Loic Lemeur's articles in a low-brow/funny/debilitating manner (no ads or anything there, and those who know me should know I would never pull a publicitiy stunt, this is not what this is about - this is about balancing out the French blogosphere). The name of the blog is a pun on words (ie. Jemeur, a slight variation on Lemeur, means literally "I die" but can also mean "I'm having a fit of laughter"):

I'm counting on you! All you need is to click once in a while, and perhaps pass the info around, so that soon enough Loic Lemeur's blog can start worrying about another website climbing the blog rankings quickly and closing in on his ego: this one!
