He is, but not visible on the picture. He is right behind the woman you can see, who is bob's wife, and behind her, LEP. Migeru is visible at the very end.

Hey...I did not say that there can be even better plates out there. But this morning, I was thinking of having a bagel while taking a walk in DC...so you see why that plate was appetizing.

Hi, Sven!

I'm back in Lyon already. It was a wonderful meeting. Too bad you weren't there! Eurotribbers are a group of fascinating people.

I regret not being there, it sounds like it was a lot of fun - and great to put some other faces to the nicks.

Don't forget to let me know more about the conference when details are finalized! Bonne chance!

Having just got back from Da Vinci Code, I am seeking clues everywhere.

I disagree with the critics. I really liked the movie. Not a masterpiece, but a good yarn. Not a yawn.

It's a good day, even though Finland failed in the MM Ice Hockey semis.
But we still have Lordi in Eurovision...

Shit you know, it just didn't work out on my end. I bought an early Paris ticket before Britanny just to get to this this meeting and ended up missing it, it's not good.
I got up early enough though, next to a dog and to my Sri Lankan friend, in the 19th district of Paris (friend's place near metro Ourcq), but then closed my eyes again (heavy hangover). When I finally got up, it was noon, I showered, clipped my nails to look smart, chose the most politically incorrect teeshirt, and got all set up to go, but was still fully hung over. My SL friend was emerging, my host friend was barely emerging. After my and my SL friend's shower it was nearly 2pm, I still had to cross Paris entirely, and I was feeling out and fucked, so when I saw this thread I thought "oh man, they're having a full lunch, where will I fit", and my SL friend was coming out with a list of things to do on his last day in Paris, so I basically gave up/chickened out.
I feel bad (and I'm still up now cause I just saw my SL friend through to his airport taxi -ie just now) and I'm still in a fully festive mood (can't help it, it's Paris).
So if anyone is still around Paris tomorrow and in the mood for something else, like a nice kick back in a lounging chair in these parts of Paris, email me on the following address then I'll give you my hosting friend's telephone number (froglex at free dot fr) so we can meet up!!!
by Alex in Toulouse on Sun May 21st, 2006 at 12:13:25 AM EST
It's just sinking in now that my SL friend has left, I've been partying non-stop since Tuesday (he came to Toulouse then, and we left for Paris together on Thursday) and I got trapped in my "I'll be the only smashed/stoned person around" mindset. So again if anyone is still around (I think Metatone for example mentioned he'd behere until Monday or something) let's meet up (froglex at free dot fr)!!!
I'm still up from seeing my SL friend to the taxi and I'm listening to radio FG underground - and my brain is half-tired but hasn't given up yet.

Starting at 2pm in Bastille, there is a full AIDS parade (carriages with super musicians/groups like Bob Sinclar etc), if anyone wants to get Paris vibes this could be a good opportunity (froglex at free dot fr).

Ok I'm in Paris until next Friday (leaving for Britanny then), so I've got to meet at least one person who can certify that I'm smashed.

If any Paris survivor emails me right now, I can then talk live on the phone without sounding too slurred or unsychronised (but I will lie down next to the dog if I don't get any replies, if at least to get some energy going for the next event)

Some are still about meeting for a brunch, but not us (PeWi and not PeWi), email Jerome, to get the details. I am sorry we will miss you, but you should be able to meet some of them that are still here. If you are in the Brasserie (Les Ondes, 2, av. de Versailles) for 11 or 12 (not that the brunch is necessarily going to be there, but Jerome lives right next door, so it would be an easy starting point...
