by Oui Sat Jul 14th, 2018 at 07:05:25 PM EST

Forming a coalition made in hell ...

Saudi 9/11 attack - Ariel Sharon - Bibi Natanyahu - Islamophobia - Funding by American Jews - NGOs such as Clarion Fund - political vehicles Dutch politicians Geert Wilders and Ayaan Hirsh Ali - right-wing support - white nationalists - Steve Bannon - Robert Mercer - Cambridge Analytica - Mark Zuckerberg - Intelligence Community giving cover - Black Cube - Erik Prince - a US President named Donald Trump!!

Possessing all of the evil elements that brought him into the world's most powerful office! No surprise to his unsophisticated message anti-Muslim - anti-women's rights - love for authoritarian regimes - a corporate guy selling pure capitalism - anti-socialist. let's such say anti-social period. Trump can't help it - a personal tragedy: Triad.

Republican Jewish Coalition Boss Declares BDS as Dangerous to Jews as White Supremacists | Tikun Olam |

Matt Brooks is just an average pro-Israel apparatchik.  He earns far more than he's worth as boss of the Republican Jewish Coalition, as many Jewish communal executives do.  He caters to the Jewish fatcat 1% who constitute the entire donor base of the RJC ...

But the tweet above which he posted today, responding to a comment from Jake Tapper noting the anti-Semitic, neo-Nazi GOP Congressional candidates, really takes the cake.  Brooks has the unmitigated gall to claim that the "radical left"- by which he means the BDS movement and "intersectionality," by which he means Black Lives Matter and its alliance with pro-Palestinian activists-is as dangerous to American Jews as white supremacists.  Now keep in mind that neo-Nazis have murdered hundreds of Americans over the past few decades, including [Alan Berg in 1984] a number of Jews.  Meanwhile no BDS leader or supporter, nor any BLM leader or supporter, has ever harmed anyone physically, let alone murdered them.

But he did have to fend off Tapper's criticism of the GOP for fielding blatantly anti-Semitic candidates along with a Jewish Congressional candidate who hates African-Americans and Muslims and is fond of quoting white supremacist websites.  So he took the easiest way out: attack someone you think everyone will hate.  Or at least all your political friends will hate.  Truth?  Accuracy?  Who cares?

It's as if these Jewish Repugnicans live in a fairy land.  I don't know if Brooks is intelligent enough to understand the difference between a bluff and a lie.  Does he really believe what he's saying, in which case he's an idiot.  Or does he say the first thing that comes into his mind, not caring how close it is to truth-in other words, a blatant liar.

Have Jewish Republicans stooped so low that they defend neo-Nazis because their president does?  Have we come to the point where a Jew believes he has less to fear from such dreck than from peace activists?

The Democratic Party of the Clinton's have completely lost it after her defeat on Nov. 8th 2016. Looking for a fall guy in Vladimir Putin. Still no sense in how to oppose a bully in Office - bloggers are all over the place and lost the progressive cause a long time ago. Identity politics averts dissent and rides on a faulty dogma of the Clintonites, just a few months before the mid-term elections ...

Rhode Island Democrats as an example how the party is struggling with a choice between the old establishment and a socially tuned platform for renewal.

RI Democrats In Power Not So Progressive

Why Did the Rhode Island Democratic Party Endorse an Alt-Right Supporter Over a Progressive Incumbent?

Moira Jayne Walsh, a 27-year-old former waitress and labor organizer, captured a bit of national attention after she won a seat in the Rhode Island House in 2016. "I decided that I wasn't just going to work on legislation, because there has been so much neglect in my neighborhood for so many years that I wanted to make sure that people felt that they had a sense of community," she told The Atlantic that November.

Walsh has since been a progressive voice in the legislature and supports increasing the minimum wage and marijuana legalization.

Rhode Island Dems Walk Back Pro-Trump Candidate Endorsement

Michael Earnheart, an alt-right supporter endorsed by RI Dem Party ...

Earnheart wrote on Twitter that undocumented immigrants are "self-entitled lawbreakers and thieves," in response to a tweet criticizing the Trump administration's child-separation policy. An archived version of Earnheart's Twitter page also features retweets of posts by Roseanne Barr, Donald Trump Jr. and conspiracy theorist Mike Cernovich. Earnheart also made Islamophobic comments over a retweet of a post by alt-right figure Gavin McInnes about "Muslim pedophiles."

How The GOP Hacked Orthodox Jews | The Forward - Opinion |

Last week saw a number of horrifying spectacles. Jeff Sessions, the attorney general, overturned asylum protections for domestic violence and gang violence victims while also quoting the New Testament to justify separating illegal immigrant parents from their children.

As if that weren't bad enough, Corey Stewart, a fervent praiser of white nationalists [NYT], won his GOP primary in Virginia.

As Jews, these events should horrify us. They mark a new era of mainstreamed bigotry in the United States. No longer can we pretend that Trump's embrace of bigotry was just a short-term strategy to win over some voters and challenge "political correctness." Now there are children, parents and entire families suffering. There are men who would take this all further, getting mainstream support for their views among Republican voters. Besides the moral abomination, our new reality also comes packaged with a healthy dose of anti-Semitism.

And yet, for Orthodox Jews, these are not reason enough to abandon the GOP.

Despite the fact that these candidates present a real and present danger to our community, I was hard-pressed to name a single right-wing Orthodox Jew who, pursuant to these events, had changed their mind about the GOP at all.
