Volume measurements of the craniums of homo sapiens is a pointless Nothing Burger.  Women's brains are, on average, smaller than men's brains yet women, on average, are better when processing along the mesocortical and mesolimbic pathways.  When it comes to the salient and sentient detection and processing of odors men aren't even in the running; the lowest scoring  women are demonstrably better then the highest scoring men.

Wealth ... you can't take it with ... just a reminder!

The wealthy financier was connected to well-known names including Trump, Clinton,
[Bill Richardson, Alan Dershowitz] and Prince Andrew before his July arrest.

Who were the rich and powerful people in Jeffrey Epstein's circle? | The Guardian - 1 hr ago |

Wealthy financier Jeffrey Epstein, whose apparent suicide in jail has stunned the US, courted many rich, powerful and famous people over his lifetime as a mover and shaker on the party circuits of New York and Florida.

Many of them distanced themselves from him in the wake of his recent arrest on charges of sex trafficking, but they included politicians, socialites, royals and top business figures.

Donald Trump

Donald Trump has called Epstein a "terrific guy" and "a lot of fun to be with". Epstein paid two visits to the president's Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Florida, in 1997 and 2000, posing for photos with Trump on both occasions. Epstein's personal address book, leaked in 2009, contained 14 phone numbers for Trump and members of his staff, according to reports.

Bill Clinton

Bill Clinton has praised Epstein for his intellect and charitable work in magazine interviews. Flight logs have revealed the former US president took trips on Epstein's private plane, reportedly nicknamed the "Lolita Express". Clinton has denied any close relationship with Epstein, instead linking their contact to aid work in the developing world.

Prince Andrew

A longtime friend of Epstein, their relationship dated back to the early 1990s. The pair were reportedly seen partying together in St Tropez and Thailand. Buckingham Palace has issued outright denials of all allegations against the Duke of York for any improper behavior.

Grapevine
An American tourist stormed out of Hallgrímskirkja on August 11th after taking offence to the display of rainbow flags in the church. It seems American Evangelical exclusivity takes no rest, even on holiday. Before storming out, the unnamed delicate flower had a heated discussion with a church attendant.

"Excuse me. Is that a rainbow flag in the church?" The tourist asked. It's a fair question. The bright colours don't always give it away.

"Yes, it is," responded the attendant, confirming that the tourist's eyes did not deceive.

"Why would a church have that?" Another fair question. Churches have historically been in favour of executing gay people and not flying rainbow flags.

"Because we believe that God's love is inclusive for all people, irrespective of their sexuality or background." This church aims to rectify history's transgressions. Nice.

"Jesus would never accept that."

"Yes, he would."

"No, he would not."

A key point buried in this story, perhaps not obvious to some readers, is that American evangelical fundamentalists have appropriated the term "Christian" to mean "evangelical fundamentalist."

Roman Catholics are not "Christian," under this definition. Nor are Episcopalians (Anglicans), who frequently adorn their churches with rainbow flags. This redefinition causes confusion in some contexts.

The statement by the tourist in this case, "This is not a Christian church! Shame!" is not surprising.

NB. detailed computational notes and "haplogroup" distributions, institutional authorities, range of US Census citation viz. "self-report" identification; none of these resemble my recollection of presentations (data visualization, narrative) initially released by 23 & Me research group report. I've yet to sift my offline storage to compare. The company's contentious collaboration with consumers, institutional funders, and gov regulators since is noteworthy.

Who Gets to Speak Freely? | The New Republic

And while I am less sympathetic than Moskowitz to campus deplatforming at elite universities and liberal arts institutions, because--as a product of one myself--I cannot help but find the pretensions of student activists in these privileged enclaves to a shared subaltern status with America's poor and oppressed to be weirdly self-congratulatory, I am also increasingly convinced that both student activists and the newspaper columnists who despise them are right to identify campuses as vanguards of contested space, precisely because they function, in Moskowitz's formulation, as microcosms of the broader society and testing grounds for social change. The Case Against Free Speech does these students a good service by taking their complaints--and their deliberations--as seriously as it does, because it demonstrates that many of them have arrived at one central, penetrating observation: Campuses are critical not because they are where the population is the most oppressed and most vulnerable; campuses are critical because they are where dangerous, racist, even genocidal ideas go to be washed clean. They provide an imprimatur of respectability. There is a reason why reactionary conservatives, their interlocutors in the legacy media, and the billionaire backers of both, are so eager to get into colleges in the first place.
