[Update-3] Playing God to decide who lives and dies. A££hole advisors who convinced the Trumps, Johnsons and Ruttes of this world the best bet is to controle the spreading of CoV-2 ... there should be sufficicient number of people to catch the virus to build up “herd immunity.” Living in a laboratory of Dr. Frankenstein. In de presentation to the nation, that is exactly how PM Mark Rutte explained his choice [https://nltimes.nl/2020/03/16/coronavirus-full-text-prime-minister-ruttes-national-address-english]. He was given three options, he believes society is makable ... Conservative capitalists in the seat of the Creator.

New tactic suggested by science and followed by politicians in Europe and US ... herd immunity. In other words, human sacrifice of today's elderly so future generations have a better chance of survival. Before Western civilization ends, the ancient practice of human sacrifice: in pure capitalism a cost/benefit analysis.
The Capacocha, Human Sacrifices in the Inca Empire
Human sacrifices have been practiced for thousands of years by many cultures in the world, including the Chinese, Carthaginians, Celts, and ancient Hawaiian cultures. It is also known of human sacrifices in indigenous peoples and cultures of pre-Columbian America, such as the Olmecs, Teotihuacans, Mayans, Toltecs, Aztecs, Muiscas, Mochicas, and Incas.

The Extraordinary Decisions Facing Italian Doctors | The Atlantic - March 11, 2020 |
Two weeks ago, Italy had 322 confirmed cases of the coronavirus. At that point, doctors in the country's hospitals could lavish significant attention on each stricken patient.
One week ago, Italy had 2,502 cases of the virus, which causes the disease known as COVID-19. At that point, doctors in the country's hospitals could still perform the most lifesaving functions by artificially ventilating patients who experienced acute breathing difficulties.
Today, Italy has 10,149 cases of the coronavirus. There are now simply too many patients for each one of them to receive adequate care. Doctors and nurses are unable to tend to everybody. They lack machines to ventilate all those gasping for air.
Now the Italian College of Anesthesia, Analgesia, Resuscitation and Intensive Care (SIAARTI) has published guidelines for the criteria that doctors and nurses should follow as these already extraordinary circumstances worsen. The document begins by likening the moral choices Italian doctors may face to the forms of wartime triage that are required in the field of "catastrophe medicine." Instead of providing intensive care to all patients who need it, the authors suggest, it may become necessary to follow "the most widely shared criteria regarding distributive justice and the appropriate allocation of limited health resources."
Italy doctors 'forced to prioritise ICU care for patients with best chance of survival' | EuroNews |
A nurse at the heart of Italy's coronavirus outbreak has told Euronews hospitals are under so much pressure they are having to prioritise patients with the best chance of survival.
Mauro D'Ambrosio, who works at Fatebenefratelli Hospital in Milan, was speaking as the country's COVID-19 death toll passed 1,000 people.
He said COVID-19 sufferers were spending more than 15 days in intensive care, much longer than the average five to six days for other patients. This, he said, was leading to a huge turnover issue and leaving hospitals at near capacity.
D'Ambrosio said: "If we understand the patient has a severe health issue to the point of having no chance [to live] and we need to give the bed or divert resources to someone who has more chances to survive, [then] this is a choice that -- despite being ethically hard to accept -- from a clinical point of view can be done to give the possibility to survive [to someone] compared to someone who would have zero chance."
D'Ambrosio is a member of the Nursing Up trade union. "Our staff is under stress", he adds. "In some hospital wards, the ratio between patients and nurses is 1 : 12-14, while it should be 1 : 6. Since the ICU require more nurses, other wards don't have the necessary staff to look after patients".
Monica Trombetta, a nurse working for the same trade union in Como, told Euronews that "we're very tired and afraid. Government decrees change every day. Personnel does not have clear guidelines for dealing with this new virus and feel a little abandoned - not by our hospital, but it's just as a general feeling. Nurses are afraid to go home and potentially infect their relatives".
Obscure statistics … the lack of test kits in the US can be intentional, at the minimum criminal intent. In Belgium and The Netherlands, the health services have decided to stop testing of individuals who have all the symptoms, but are recovering at home in a voluntary quarantine.
In The Netherlands, a ultra-modern nation and health services, ten days ago the “experts” already stated the choices to be made. The elderly and individuals with complication of cancer, diabetes, lung deficiency will not be accepted at hospitals for ICU treatment … go starve elsewhere!
Draconian Measures Taken By China In Wuhan, Praise By WHO

China’s Draconian Lockdown Is Getting Credit for Slowing Coronavirus. Would It Work Anywhere Else? | TIME |
As COVID-19 spread rapidly across China, authorities took an aggressive stance to fight the coronavirus. They were slow to respond to the outbreak—at first suppressing information and denying that it could spread between humans even as it did just that. But, as case numbers skyrocketed, Beijing went to extraordinary lengths to fight the virus, identified at COVID-19, in a campaign Chinese President Xi Jinping has described as a “people’s war.”
The most dramatic, and controversial, of the measures was the lockdown of of tens of millions of people in what is believed to be the largest quasi-quarantine in human history.
Less than two months after the lockdown went into effect, it appears to be working, at least according to Chinese health officials, who announced on Thursday that the country had passed the peak of the coronavirus epidemic. They reported just eight new cases of the virus the same day, the lowest number since they began publicly releasing numbers. At the same time, cases of COVID-19 across the world are skyrocketing.

Pure Capitalism: Selling National Health and Security to the Highest Bidder In The Netherlands
For a century, Dutch Health on immunology and critical vaccines were in the hands of the Government. After 9/11 there was a focus on bioterrorism and funds were poured into research. A decade later, the Dutch as one of many took the eye off the ball and sold out the National Security to private enterprise and the highest bidder. A pandemic waiting to happen.
RIVM: 110 Years protecting the population
In 1909 the organisation that would later develop into RIVM National Institute for Public Health and the Environment , the Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment, started out as the "Central Laboratory for the State Inspectorate". In 2019 we celebrated an important anniversary: 110 years of RIVM. From the start, we have been promoting public health, incorporating environmental protection along the way. This timeline presents the monumental events that took place during these years.
Some highlights
1950 - Aid from the Marshall Plan
The National Institute for Public Health received 3.5 million guilders from the Marshall Plan and expanded its capacity significantly. The aim was to ensure that the Netherlands no longer had to depend on imported vaccines – and that we would be able to manufacture enough serums and vaccines to supply the NATO military forces in the event of a war with the Eastern Bloc.

A 70-year-old woman with other underlying health complaints also passed away on Saturday. She was one of three patients at the Bravis Ziekenhuis in Roosendaal to test positive for the virus.
It is not clear if the deaths of the man and woman were included in the new statistics from the RIVM. The health agency maintained its position that all fatal victims had underlying health issues that contributed to their deaths.
"Fewer new positive tests were reported today than yesterday. An explanation is that the test policy has been adjusted," the RIVM said. A spokesman previously told NL Times on Friday that it was modifying its stance on who should be tested.
The goal is to first test those with the most urgent needs, process those tests more quickly, and reduce the strain on laboratory capacity. The number of unchecked samples in the Netherlands was piling up by midweek, and at one point 6,000 tests had been completed while thousands more were still awaiting results.
The RIVM said on Saturday it changed its working method on Thursday. "From March 12, people with mild complaints will no longer be tested, because there is a national policy to stay at home when first symptoms arise," the agency said. "In addition, more is being tested among risk groups."

[Update March 14]
In the past three days, the number of infections and deaths for Italy and Iran turned out to be much higher than the researchers predicted (for the insiders: the relative error was less than ten percent). It shows that despite the complex model applied by the researchers, the development of this crisis - at least in these countries - is currently difficult to predict. The researchers again predict a significant increase in the number of infections for France and the United States, by 23 and 30 percent respectively. In Italy, too, the increase of number of infections continues, with the same percentage as yesterday (17%). The estimate of the ultimate maximum for that country has now been adjusted to around 50,000 infections. Estimates for China and South Korea have not changed significantly.

STOP THE COUNT – A UNIVERSAL RESPONSE?
Rear Adm. Timothy Ziemer abruptly departed from his post leading the global health security team on the National Security Council in May 2018 amid a reorganization of the council by then-National Security Advisor John Bolton, and Ziemer’s team was disbanded. Tom Bossert, whom the Washington Post reported “had called for a comprehensive biodefense strategy against pandemics and biological attacks,” had been fired one month prior.
It’s thus true that the Trump administration axed the executive branch team responsible for coordinating a response to a pandemic and did not replace it, eliminating Ziemer’s position and reassigning others.
President Trump: “A nasty question … I don’t know anything about it. … we acted early.” So true!!

○ How Trump’s budget makes us all vulnerable to bioterrorism | The Hill – May 2017 |
For nearly two decades, the federal government has committed to biopreparedness and made significant progress toward enabling our country to withstand and respond to biological attacks and pandemics. Funding for some of these programs has declined over time, but the new federal budget released last week by the Trump administration is uniquely drastic. It would undo the bipartisan progress to build our biodefenses by crippling, and in some cases eliminating, programs that are vital to our national health security.

Coronavirus in Washington state: A timeline of the outbreak | KIRO7 TV |
March 13
Evergreen Health Hospital announced it is canceling elective surgeries per CDC guidelines. Critical and necessary surgeries will still take place. The hospital said the elective surgeries are being suspended to conserve resources, people and supplies. A coronavirus patient in Kent left the quarantine facility unauthorized. President Trump declared a national emergency. Inslee said all Washington schools would be closed until April 24, so the first day back would be April 27. The Washington death count went up to 37 from 570 cases. The Washington State Office of the Secretary of State announced it will suspend public access to critical in-person services until further notice but will remain fully operational. Dr. Jeff Duchin, public health officer in Seattle and King County, tweeted Friday evening that, “All hospitals need to urgently prepare for a surge in critically ill patients.” Officials with Seattle Children’s Hospital said it is limiting visitors to a maximum of two primary caregivers for each patient to help protect against possible exposure to the coronavirus. King County Metro ridership declines as the public heed the guidance of health officials. Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan prepares to sign an emergency order, ensuring renters are not evicted during the coronavirus emergency. A second University of Washington student in as many days has tested positive for the coronavirus.
