A RIDICULE OF DEMOCRACY
The speaker of the House introduced a new meaning of lying and deception. When the Prime Minister lies from the despatch box and is caught out by the facts, British members of Parliament are not permitted to state a direct accusation of telling a lie forthright. One must add “inadvertently” to avoid PM embarrassment.
Is this Eton or Oxford linguistic to keep members honored?
