Dutch gods are on coke (Nederlands)

by Oui Sun Nov 20th, 2022 at 01:14:34 PM EST

Besides the endemic problem of racism, trumpist belief in conspiracies, swallowing disinformation, national TV news broadcasts "promoting" xenophobia and promotion to disregard human rights laws ... extensive criminal behavior in traffic ... drugs use causing traffic deaths and violent car rage .. all components of decay in society possible in a pure capitalistic setting of rewards for narcissists and riches.

A setting where businesses, politics and sport clubs can't provide safe surroundings for employees in the workplace. Girls and boys suffer from sexual predators on a large scale. The top of the iceberg only is seen on the news. Financial center Amsterdam SE with coke and employee intimidation similar to global cities where only profits and "success" matters. Money 💵 💰 talks and earns influence to live the "American dream" to the fullest .... the rest are suckers, or as Trump so eloquently spoke of veterans buried @Arlington ... losers!

White collar crime on a vast scale has freedom to operate. Prosecutors, detectives, public financial experts are lacking in numbers and funds.

As a result trust in politics will play out in more populism in politics and crazier lijk Thierry Baudet, a Trump copycat, will always get seats in Dutch parliament. The horror scene in society.

Dutch crimejournalist Peter R. de Vries has just been shot in Amsterdam

De Vries is the most well known crime reporter in The Netherlands, a tv-icon for years. His possible enemies are numerous. Police have given out a profile for a possible shooter.

The Hague in turmoil: Ayaan versus "Iron" Rita | by. omad on Jan. 2006 |

As much as I appreciate living in the Netherlands, today I am not proud. Today, the Netherlands show once again their tremendous pettiness they can level against flamboyant persons and characters. Ayaan Hirsi Ali, the controversial member of parliament from the (right-wing) party VVD, who wrote the script of the equally controversial movie "Submission", resigned today from the Dutch parliament with an emotional speech, flanked by Minister of Finances Gerrit Zalm (also VVD), who was similarly emotional.

[Ayaan Hirsi Ali was employed by the Labour Party to develop policy at their think tank Wiardi Beckman Stichting. She changed colour to the rightwing VVD, convinced by Neelie Kroes and Gerrit Zalm - Oui]

It's instructive to follow how Hirsi Ali seems to have ended up in the power struggle within the VVD between Rita Verdonk, the Minister of Integration, and Mark Rutte, now Secretary of Education.

The laughing third in this affair and completely absent this night is Mark Rutte, Secretary of Education. I'm fairly certain he has opened a bottle of champagne together with his campaign team and is watching the live feed of the debate within The Hague. It is Rutte who has been locked for the past weeks in a direct confrontation with Rita Verdonk for the party leadership of the VVD, to be chosen within the next weeks.

And Rutte, a rising star within the VVD ranks, is probably one of the scariest people I've seen in current politics: he seems nice enough, he's young, has the looks, some debating skills and has buffed up his resume with smear attacks on the Labour party during the local election of past March, and is commercialising the higher education of the Netherlands following the Anglo-Saxon model. Mark Rutte is, in fact, a marketista through and through and should be kept from the steering wheel of the Netherlands as far as possible. Which is why I hope he will win the party leadership - for reasons I'll tell below.

[A Failed Attempt] To Uncover the Liberal Party in Western Europe: A Comparative Perspective | Radboud University - 2015 |

Significant change took place after 2015 and the immigration crisis originating in the criminal attempt for regime change of Syria, the aftermath of the illegal war, invasion and occupation of Iraq. The foundations of political parties in The Netherlands lost their roots, shed their feathers of principle and moral values. The full rainbow of diverse parties flocked massively to the right, dark red,  and populism. Social media and a low budget national news broadcast are main culprits. Even Trumpism would make a chance for victory by the Dutch. The American disease incorporated by Mark Rutte and his "liberal" VVD platform of austerity, libertarian economics and corporate benefits. Workers rights have not been upheld (think Margaret Thatcher and the British) and public utilities were sold off to the highest bidder.

During the financial crisis of a collapsing banking systems, the institutions were subsidized by public finances and gave Gerrit Zalm a top position at Abn-Amro.

ABN Amro gambled with taxpayer money under the leadership of Gerrit Zalm | FTM - Feb. 17, 2022 |

In October 2008, the Dutch government saved ABN Amro from collapse with taxpayer money totalling 30 billion. The bank was nationalised, and former Finance Minister Gerrit Zalm promised to turn it into a respectable, conservative bank. Eighteen months later, under his leadership, the bank set up two aggressive financing structures with Deutsche Bank and Goldman Sachs. `These were risky and irresponsible practices under Gerrit Zalm's leadership'.
