NA Deputy Speaker Qasim Khan Suri dismissed the no-trust move against Prime Minister Imran Khan, terming it against Article 5 of the Constitution | Dawn News - Apr 3, 2022 |
"On March 7, our official ambassador was invited to a meeting attended by the representatives of other countries. The meeting was told that a motion against PM Imran was being presented," he said, noting that this occurred a day before the opposition formally filed the no-trust move.
"We were told that relations with Pakistan were dependent on the success of the no-confidence motion. We were told that if the motion fails, then Pakistan's path would be very difficult. This is an operation for a regime change by a foreign government."
Suri noted that the motion was presented on March 8 and should follow the law and the Constitution. "No foreign power shall be allowed to topple an elected government through a conspiracy," he said, adding that the points raised by the minister were "valid".

He arrived in Israel in early May with a rare visit of 15 mostly Pakistani Americans, who traveled on their U.S. passports but who hold close ties in their home country. The trip drew little attention from Israelis and Palestinians, but it stirred fury in Pakistan, where opposition politicians including ousted ex-Prime Minister Imran Khan saw it as a secretive opening gambit to end their country's official boycott of Israel. Pakistanis were especially angered that a talk show host from state-run television, whom Khan's supporters claimed is close to Pakistan's military, was on the trip. He was subsequently fired.

Imran says rulers 'tasked with recognising Israel' | Dawn News |
Vowing to continue his struggle till the ouster of `imported government imposed on the people through an international conspiracy', Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf chairman and ex-premier Imran Khan said on Sunday the rulers were a security threat for the country, alleging that they had been `tasked with recognising Israel' and compromising with India on Kashmir issue.
Claiming that he would never accept the `imported government of slaves and looters', Mr Khan told a party workers' convention in Charsadda that the rulers were ready to do everything ordered by America, but the masses were on his side as they were aware of `the real leaders' who would save Pakistan from the slavery of foreign powers.
