Judeo-Fascism Arises - Kahane

by Oui Thu Jan 12th, 2023 at 07:04:42 PM EST

In a "moderate" fascist coalition, Bibi Netanyahu manage to evade Justice for alleged corruption and bribery charges. He enjoyed a warm bath with Donald, Mike and family friend Jared Kushner occupying the White House for four years. Israel managed its PR in an outstanding manner, no crimes were left punished on the International scene ... mighty friend the United States of America was a steady ally with the world's most powerful military as guarantor.

More and more the accusation of driving an Apartheid state became bothersome ... the best bid to counteract "leftist" humane traits is to move further to extreme right politicians. Kahane loyalists now partner with Bibi to run a dilapidated form of government while still claiming to be the Wests best ally to save democracy from authoritarian states in the "jungle" of Barbarians. Ask the EU and Josep Borrell about fascism in his early Spanish education years.

Spliced video of fake news to sow discord in Israeli society

Viral video shared by PM's son of `leftists burning rabbi's photo' found to be fake | TOI - Jan. 9, 2023 |

Disinformation watchdog says crudely spliced video, showing picture of Rabbi Chaim Druckman going up in flames, was likely disseminated by foreign agents seeking to sow discord

The video, which went viral on social media and was shared and then deleted by Yair Netanyahu, shows protesters marching on a highway in Tel Aviv before crudely cutting away to show a picture of Druckman being set on fire in a darkened location, and then cutting to another shot of protesters marching.
Despite the clumsy integration of the footage, the video was carried by some Hebrew-language media outlets and was shared widely by Likud activists.

"Here the lefties are burning a picture of Rabbi Druckman at a protest yesterday," Yair Netanyahu tweeted. "Remember what happened to Jews who destroyed a photo of Arabs at a wedding? Arrests and an indictment," a reference to infamous footage from a 2015 wedding depicting the groom and six guests celebrating the murder of a Palestinian baby.

Downplaying Far-right Ties, Hero of Ukraine's Azov Unit Holds Israel Publicity Tour | Haaretz - Dec. 20. 2022 |

Illia Samoilenko of Ukraine's Azov unit has been speaking in Israel about his fighting in Mariupol, but has also been assuring skeptics that his group no longer has neo-Nazi affiliations

Standing on the boardwalk next to the Tel Aviv beach, Lt. Illia Samoilenko shifted his cigarette to the hook which replaced the left hand he lost in battle against the Russians and smiled as he described how a left-wing Israeli activist recently admitted to being nervous about meeting him.

Israel helps Ukraine whitewash its Nazis | Electronic Intifada - Dec. 23, 2022 |

Representatives of Ukraine's neo-Nazi Azov Battalion have been touring Israel to drum up support for the unit's imprisoned fighters. They have been meeting with Israeli politicians and soldiers.

Azov intelligence officer Illia Samoilenko was released in a prisoner exchange with Russia in September. He had been one of the hundreds of Azov fighters who surrendered in May at the end of the long Russian siege of the eastern city of Mariupol.

"Israel values freedom, values strength, Israel values honor. It's the same things that we also value," he told Israeli newspaper Haaretz this week.

George Bush: Us vs Them or in colonizer words the Garden vs the Jungle

Samoilenko also told The Times of Israel that "he sees Israel and Ukraine on the same side, the civilized battling the uncivilized in a struggle for the future of humanity," the outlet summarized.

It seems the "they" in this case are the Palestinians and the Russians, who Samoilenko regards as "uncivilized."

Along for the Israeli tour with Samoilenko is Yulia Fedosiuk, the wife of an imprisoned Azov fighter and a far-right activist in her own right. Both were on a charm offensive this week, as part of a wider push to whitewash Azov's image in the West.

Sociology: Poles are for Ukraine, but against Ukrainians

Onet.pl is the largest Polish web portal and online news platform. According to Digital News Report, it is the largest online news source in the country, reaching 42% Internet users every week. It is also one of the most-quoted news media in Poland.

Поляки за Украину, но против украинцев. Отчет о социологически&# 1093; исследованиях

Onet: поляков объединила неприязнь к украинским беженцам

Sociologists claim that the general attitude of Poles towards Ukrainian refugees has changed significantly in nine months.

The Poles have a problem, and a serious one at that. In the public sphere, there is a belief that Poles are full of benevolence towards Ukrainians. We managed to give ourselves medals for this, we accept expressions of gratitude from Ukraine, but meanwhile this is no longer true. Indeed, this was the case in the first months, when we reacted sympathetically to the beginning of military operations and the Russian special operation. Fear of Russia, which is a strong factor in the integration of Poles and Ukrainians, played its role, regardless of the mood. Unfortunately, sympathy is no longer the dominant feeling among Poles.

Sociological studies that have been conducted show that in all social and age groups, in large and small cities, regardless of gender, negative feelings towards refugees from Ukraine prevail. This means that we are sitting on a time bomb. And if we are not smart enough to neutralize it, it will fall into the hands of people who can use this situation to score political points. This is exactly what happened in Germany in 2015, where the mass media and political elites could not formulate the growing hostility to refugees, and the microscopic party "Alternative for Germany" suddenly became the third political force in the country.

Recent focus on Israel's planned forced displacement of Palestinians living in Masafer Yatta prompted 24 European Parliament members to contact the European Commissioner for Crisis Management, Janez Lenarcic, regarding financial reparation. The bottom line is that, while the EU is within its rights to demand financial compensation, the issue at stake - which is the Palestinian people being forcibly displaced by Israel - is nowhere on the EU's agenda.

Of little to no consequence was Lenarcic's reminding that EU representatives often visit areas in the Occupied West Bank that are slated for demolition, ostensibly "to warn against"....As Lenarcic stated, "The list of possible steps to ensure compensation from Israel for European financing that went down the drain in demolitions has not yet come up for discussion."

Translation:
Editorial in the Wall Street Journal: "The Israeli Supreme Court lacks brakes, cancels the democratic process"

The common American newspaper strengthened the legal revolution: "The Supreme Court provides the best justifications for promoting reform in this case" * The editorial stated that "the court rejects laws it deems 'unreasonable' - which covers roughly everything" * On Deri's disqualification: "Beheading of the new government"

Translation of reply:
This article is full of inaccuracies and misrepresentations and most certainly originates from the propaganda machine surrounding Netanyahu and the "research institutes" that promote the crushing of the justice system.

It is enough to point out that there is no connection between "reasonableness" and repealing laws, and the Supreme Court has never repealed a law because it was "unreasonable".

It is shameful that a newspaper like the WSJ publishes such a thing.

Who's Threatening Israeli Democracy?
Israel's Supreme Court makes the best case for its own reform | WSJ Editorial Board |

Every time a right-wing government wins an election these days, the immediate refrain from the dominant global media is that it's a threat to democracy. Israel's new government led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is getting this treatment now, and a brawl over that country's Supreme Court illustrates why the issue is more complicated than the media narrative.

Israel's Supreme Court has more power than America's but without the democratic checks. Unbound by any constitution, and loosed from requirements of standing and justiciability, Israel's court strikes down laws that it finds merely "unreasonable," which can cover most anything. Israel's court even has a veto on the appointment of new justices, in contrast to the U.S. where the President and Senate share the appointment power.

Some Poles Collaborated With the Nazis. But Poland's 'Ministry of Memory' Wants People To Forget | TIME - Sept. 6, 2022 |

Popiela was shocked when he began to learn as an adult about how in 1942 nearly 12,000 Jewish residents from Nowy Sącz--then one-third of the city's population--were transported to the neighboring Belzec death camp run by the Nazis. Many spent their final night in the city huddled on the same riverbank nestled between those two bridges that Popiela had passed every day. "They saw this same view. They heard the same river voices and sounds," he says, as we stood alongside the town's riverbank in May. But he was never taught any of it. "How is that possible?" he asks.

US State Department Press Briefing - January 27, 2023

QUESTION: So what is the status of the Palestinians in the West Bank? What is their status?

MR PATEL: I'm sorry?

QUESTION: What is the status of the Palestinian people in the West Bank, including Jenin, including the camp of Jenin, and everywhere else in the West Bank? How do you designate them? What kind of designations do you give the Palestinians in the West Bank?

MR PATEL: That they reside in that - those territories.

QUESTION: They reside in that - they're totally independent of the rest of the world, as if it were a different planet. Are they occupied, for instance? Do you - do you subscribe to the fact that they are under a military occupation?

MR PATEL: Said, let me - let me --

QUESTION: It's a simple question. Are they under occupation?

MR PATEL: Said, let me say a couple of things to the point that I believe --

QUESTION: Vedant, are they occupied or are they not occupied? What is the status that you give the Palestinians right at this moment? What kind of status do they have?

MR PATEL: Said, the recent period has seen a sharp and --

QUESTION: I'm not talking about a recent period. I am saying about legally, how do you designate the Palestinians in the West Bank? What is their status?

MR PATEL: Said, I understand the question you're asking, and I - as we've said previously, it is vital for both sides to take action to prevent even greater loss, and we condemn any violence, escalation, or provocation. We have made quite clear - and I spoke to this in addressing Matt's question - that we believe Palestinians and Israelis equally deserve to live safely and securely.

QUESTION: Now, who guarantees that equality? Who will guarantee that Palestinians and Israelis can actually have the same equal measures, as you keep repeating? It's not the Palestinians that keep going day after day into Israeli villages and towns and so on and attack them during night raids, killing their people. You just basically recited the Israeli story that they are nine militants killed and one civilian, as if you were sure of that fact, even before an investigation went on.

Where should the Palestinians go for protection? I've asked this question many times in this room. How should the Palestinians be protected?

MR PATEL: Said, we have been very clear and we believe that there is an urgent need for all parties to de-escalate and to work together to improve the security situation in the West Bank.

Labour MP Kim Johnson apologises to Commons after calling Israeli government fascist | The Guardian |

Kim Johnson summoned by party's chief whip amid condemnation of comments during PMQs

A Labour MP has apologised to the Commons after provoking anger by calling the Israeli government "fascist" during prime minister's questions.

Kim Johnson, the MP for Liverpool, Riverside, said on Wednesday afternoon she wanted to retract the comments she had made hours earlier, just five days after Holocaust Memorial Day.

Her apology came after she was summoned to see Labour's chief whip to explain the comments, which threatened to mire the party in another row over antisemitism.
Johnson said during prime minister's questions: "Since the election of the fascist Israeli government last December there has been an increase in human rights violations against Palestinians, including children. Can the prime minister tell us how he is challenging what Amnesty and other human rights organisations refer to as an apartheid state?"

In response, Rishi Sunak criticised the tone of her remarks, saying: "It's important in this matter to remain calm and urge all sides to strive for peace."

Labour party officials condemned the comments even more strongly as soon as PMQs was over. A spokesperson for the party leader, Keir Starmer, called them "completely unacceptable" and said the chief whip would ask Johnson to withdraw them.

Don't wait for my apology 🤣 speaking truth to power.

Kim Johnson row: Starmer is ignoring Israel's slide into fascism | MEE |

A blind eye

Labour MP Dame Margaret Hodge, a stalwart of Labour Friends of Israel, has added her voice to this week's row, calling Johnson's remarks an "insult" to the legacy of Dame Louise Ellman, who was Johnson's predecessor as Liverpool Riverside MP. Ellman stepped down in 2019, saying it was over the party's handling of allegations of antisemitism under Starmer's predecessor, Jeremy Corbyn.

But it should not be "insulting" to Hodge, Ellman or other Labour Friends of Israel that a Labour MP pointed out a simple fact: that a fascist party is at the heart of the new Israeli government. Rather, if they care so much about Israel, they should be angry that fascists are in power. They ought to be at the forefront of those speaking out against Israel's descent into fascism.

But here we get to the rub. Israel's ever-greater extremism has been made possible precisely because it faces no opposition in the West. Israel apologists dominate the left and right in western capitals.

Labour "friends" have consistently turned a blind eye to the oppression of Palestinians. However much the situation worsens, they keep quiet - and impose that silence on others by accusing them of being antisemites or "insensitive" if, like Johnson, they dare to speak out.
