Former Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, who was this year selected as the Secretary General of NATO, has stated that Europeans need to "shift to a wartime mindset" and that military spending must be increased, likely at the expense of things like healthcare. [become more like the UK, or even better the USA on healthcare]

Rutte made the remarks at, ironically, a meeting of The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Brussels, declaring that Russia is trying to "crush our freedom and way of life."

"Hostile actions against Allied countries are real and accelerating... These attacks are not just isolated incidents. They are the result of a coordinated campaign to destabilise our societies and discourage us from supporting Ukraine," he added.

Rutte is a master of deception and has run all his campaigns on lies and fabrications .. a true populist ... he honestly believes we should stop talking about peace .... So this is a perfect setting for his utter BS.

Made me furious ... used the commemoration of war deaths on the 4th of May in The Netherlands to promote his buddy Zelenskyy during @Dutch parliament visit, the ICC in The Hague meeting prosecutor Karim Khan, and offer more lethal weapons to escalate the NATO proxy war. Utterly disgusting ... has no soul or empathy for humanity and suffering of the innocent.

As inflation ravages the West, Europeans are told by NATO chieftain Mark Rutte to sacrifice more for the glorious cause of tyranny in Ukraine. Pensions must be trimmed, inflation accepted and any other social benefits put on the chopping block. What, you may ask, is the logic here? Well, there isn't any, unless Rutte believes the stupendous lie that Moscow intends for its tanks to roll over the Polish border on a westward march through Europe.
