Ukrainians Tired of 300 Years War v. Russia

by Oui Mon Dec 29th, 2025 at 10:08:38 AM EST

Interesting perspective by Sean Bell ...

a lot of nonsense but some quotes do stick.

Sean Bell: 'The only way this is going to stop is if Putin achieves his military objectives'

Meaning? Russia is victor and Ukraine loses the battle.

Zelenskyy is not in a position of power to accept defeat and cede territory of Crimea, Donbas and more oblasts as the war extends longer before cessation of hostilities.

IMO there will never be peace as antagonism has been fed for too many decades and exploited by the EU and NATO at a horrible cost of lives ...

Zelenskyy is tied to the apron strings of VDL in Brussels and the Triad Starmer-Macron-Merz. Personally, Zelenskyy has no political future, just sharing wealth with his oligarchs. A corrupt state that will end as a terror state for the foreseeable future.

The most quoted BS from President Trump ever to be witnessed ... (2:20 min)

"Putin is willing to supply energy to Ukraine at very low prices."

Back to square one before the brutal Maidan Revolution of 2013-14 ... the Joe Biden offensive on Russia. Also retracing the steps taken by Bush/Cheney in 2008 at the NATO Bucharest Summit. No to expansion into Georgia and Ukraine. Cut the crap in Europe.

Russian-Ukrainian gas deal - what's behind it?

by Jerome a Paris - Jan 4th, 2006

A resolution of the recent gas crisis between Russia and Ukraine, which had led to a temporary cut ofgas supplies to Ukraine and then to Europe, has apparently been found.

MOSCOW (Reuters/NYT) - Russia and Ukraine reached a face-saving deal on Wednesday in a bitter gas dispute which hit supplies to Europe and cast doubt on Moscow's reliability as a safe supply source.

    (...)

The deal should also provide reassurance to European consumers, who rely on Russia to cover a quarter of their gas needs, after they were hit by a sharp drop in pressure in the pipelines that pump Siberian gas westward across Ukraine.

"We have reached a final agreement," Gazprom's chief executive, Alexei Miller, said at a news conference in Moscow after talks with Ukrainian officials.

"This agreement will ensure stable supplies to Europe.

Details were sketchy, but Miller said the five-year deal was effective from Jan. 1 and based on a price of $230 per 1,000 cubic meters of gas. That is a huge rise from the $50 Ukraine was paying - a holdover from subsidized Soviet-era prices.

Details were sketchy, but Miller said the deal was effective from January 1 and based on a price of $230 per 1,000 cubic meters of gas. That is up from the $50 Ukraine had paid under an existing cut-price deal.

But the head of Ukraine's Naftogaz state energy company, Oleksiy Ivchenko, said at the same news conference that, after mixing in supplies from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan, Kiev would actually pay $95 per 1,000 cubic meters at its border.

More importantly for major consumers like Germany, France and Italy, the two sides agreed to increase fees for gas transit that Russia pays to Ukraine, the route taken by 80 percent of Russian gas pumped to Europe.

There are loads of suspicious things about this deal.

"They Keep Dying" -- Trump Asked What Happens if Peace Talks Fail With Ukraine & Russia

Q: Nearly 100 Americans who died on the battlefield fighting for Ukraine! What is your message to their families whose loved ones died for ...

Trump: The message is so obvious ... what a shame.

President Donald Trump warns that if peace talks with Russia fail, the Ukraine war will simply continue with more deaths. Speaking alongside Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy at Mar-a-Lago, Trump says Vladimir Putin wants the war to end but admits failure would mean continued fighting and dying.
