Excellent discussion in Dutch Media today ... a first!
There is no peace on the European continent and the promise of Liberation 1945 "Never Again" has repeatedly been obstructed by key nations responsible for FDR's NWO of the United Nations.
The largest and most powerful states responsible for the five permanent seats in the UNSC have undermined democratic principles, the key articles of the UN Charter have been violated repeatedly.
Regime change runs counter to the principles of the UN Charter. Silence is not an option!

I will be silent at 20:00 hours this evening for 2 min. as remembrance for those giving their lives for liberation by defeating Nazi ideology and the millions of victims at the hands of a brutal dictator post Bismarck Germany. The depth of humanity witnessed in the death camps, the extermination camps across occupied Europe where 12 million human beings were murdered. Six million Jewish lives were taken ... The Nuremberg trials changed the legislation for war crimes and crimes against humanity.
In every day Europe history has been forgotten.
The Nakba of 1948 and the rightwing extremist regime in Israel since 2001 and the Gaza extermination today bear witness to deprivation of humanity once again.
After 80 years of remembrance, many citizens in The Netherlands have a need to bear witness of other war crimes taking place in recent years. An additional alternative protest will take place in The Hague at 19:00 hours today. Well done.

Hajo Meyer – Another Jewish Voice
Through photos and archives we travel back to the past and a forgotten history comes to life again. As a peace activist, for example, he founded Another Jewish Voice: ’for Israel and Palestine, against occupation and violence'. The film was released in 2024 and has already had several successful screenings in Amsterdam.
… The Kindertransport 1938-39 (German for "children's transport") was an organised rescue effort of children from Nazi-controlled territory that took place during the nine months prior to the outbreak of the Second World War.
I’ve written along these lines not only recently, but marks my perception since started writing in the Fall of 2004.
Big Three Leaders Are Responsible for War Atrocities | 15 Feb. 2020 |
These events stick in my mind as a reminder, true leaders in the world seek peace between nations. Avoid war where possible, don't wager on perceived advantage of might to attack another nation. Use of unipolar power to bully and bribe other nations into submission is morally wrong and will lead to military conflict.

Wealth from Saudis, royalty included, funded the Wahhabist mission across the globe. Preachers with a predetermined mindset of extremism were send to mosques across Western Europe, North Africa, Middle East (Lebanon and Syria included), Caucuses, former Soviet satellite states and across South East Asia.
The domino effect of the spread of Communism was halted, the spread of extremist Saudi Wahhabism was encouraged and coopted with western intelligence agencies for ulterior motives. In Afghanistan and the Caucasus to harm the Soviet Union and in a later stage, the Russian Federation.
Western intelligence has played a belligerent role above and beyond politics ever since the Great War 1940-45 and the formation of OSS under Allen Welsh Dulles. America, France and Great Britain made use of the Nazi Reich officials, kept them in place in order to battle Communism and the Soviet threat from the East. NATO was established and committed to avoid another war by Germany, but soon under British leadership targeted the Soviet "threat" of Communism.

[Update-1]
Invitation to all inclusive commemoration of the persecuted of today and in the past decennia and beyond 80 years.
Alternative
National Remembrance Day
May 4
We want to offer everyone who shares this feeling as an alternative on May 4, a more inclusive and contemporary commemoration ceremony that, in memory of the horrors of the Second World War and colonial wars, honestly learns from the past, acknowledges the responsibility of the Netherlands for war suffering then and war suffering now, and shows solidarity with the sorrow and pain of (living) war victims.
These are:
- all people now in the Netherlands who have fled from and/or are/were themselves victims of war, genocide, persecution or oppression;
- all people now in the Netherlands who have family or loved ones who are currently suffering from war, genocide, persecution or oppression;
- all people now in other countries who suffer from war, genocide, persecution or oppression due to the actions or omissions of the Dutch state;
- all people in other countries who have died due to war, genocide, persecution or oppression due to the actions or omissions of the Dutch state.
In this alternative commemoration we like to put people central.

NEVER AGAIN IS NOW!!
There is a lot of underlying anger at the alternative 4 May commemoration: ’Never again is now’
The well-attended alternative 4 May commemoration in The Hague proceeds with dignity and without incident. But beneath the surface, anger is simmering among the Dutch left. ’What is happening in Gaza now is just as bad as the Holocaust.’
57-year-old Erik from Houten (he does not give his last name) still remembers exactly when he decided to skip the National Remembrance Day this year. ‘That was when the National Committee for 4 and 5 May once again emphasized that it is not intended to commemorate the victims in the Gaza Strip.’ His voice trembles with indignation as he takes aim at the Dutch government for ignoring Israel’s war crimes.
The demonstration takes place between the trees on the Koekamp, a park between the Malieveld and the Central Station in The Hague. The early arrivals are mainly people aged 60 and over, but when the programme starts, later trains also bring in many young people. Eventually, enough people show up to fill Dam Square in Amsterdam, where the official commemoration of the dead is held at the same time. The end result is a cross-section of left-wing and socially engaged Netherlands.
Gaza war is direct cause
Erik from Houten is standing among thousands of people who - apparently - think exactly the same. The organization behind the alternative May 4 commemoration, a largely anonymous group of civil servants and ex-diplomats, makes no secret of the fact that the Gaza war was the direct cause for this event.
'The fact that there are dignitaries on Dam Square who are currently not taking any action to stop the genocide of the Palestinians, causes a lot of pain, anger and sorrow in the Netherlands', they write on their website. ’We want to create a place where people can express their current pain and sorrow, and show solidarity with victims now.'
The alternative commemoration is therefore not a commemoration of the dead. Or at least not alone. Several visitors say: 'never again is now', a reference to the often repeated message behind the traditional commemoration of the dead. Monique Paas (67) from Zutphen can't stand it anymore. 'This must never happen again', they say every year about war and genocide. But it just happens every day. 'could weep when I see the images from Gaza.'

20:10: Emotions at alternative commemoration
'Quite a few emotions among the people around me', says a reporter about the alternative commemoration of the dead in The Hague. ’A woman in front of me could not hold back the tears, she got an arm around her from someone next to her.
'Then someone came to bring a handkerchief. And a third person gave this woman her flower.' Former politician Hedy d'Ancona was one of the speakers. She commemorated her father, who died in a concentration camp during the war. She also warned against populist leadership, 'then and now'.
Alternative commemoration of inclusive war victims well attended: ’What does never again mean?'
Jewish lobby groups attempted to block the inclusive commemoration of present day genocide across the Middle East.
Hasbara argument: Grant us May 4 to commemorate only Dutch (Jewish) victims.
During the National Remembrance Day on Dam Square, an alternative commemoration is organised in The Hague, in which all war victims are commemorated. Journalist Frits Barend disagrees. Initiator Angélique Eijpe and guest speaker Hedy d'Ancona defend their position in Bar Laat.
'Now that Israel is suddenly in the news, we also have to start commemorating broadly. All those years before, it was never discussed', says journalist Frits Barend. The Dutch government has defined previous wars as self-defence and that also had consequences. But when it comes to Israel and Palestine, that does not happen, explains Angélique Eijpe, initiator of the alternative commemoration. ’That is the sore point.'
Eijpe says that she herself lost 28 family members in Gaza: 'Why can't that be commemorated?' Yet Barend still feels that the May 4 Remembrance Day is being taken away from him: ’There are 500,000 minutes in a year, so give us two minutes in which we can only commemorate the Second World War.'
War Promotion On Remembrance Day 4 May 2023 … Did We Forget?
I was one of a lonely few who protested against the warmongering by Dutch prime minister Mark Rutte … inviting proxy war leader Volodymyr Zekenskyy to the City of Peace for interviews with leading dignitaries and even an interview with busy man Karim Khan at the ICC who lacked time to investigate the war crimes in Gaza and on the west Bank by the fascist regime of Bibi Netanyahu and his Kahane ministers of war.
Hijacking Peace by Zelensky for War Escalation
Today, Thursday May 4th is the Commemoration of heroes and war deaths, especially the citizens killed during the German occupation 1940-45 and the Jewish population arrested, transported through Westerbork to extermination camps of Hitler Nazi terror and genocide. Most camps were on Ukrainian territory, Poland and Eastern Germany. Soviet prisoners of war too were slaughtered as cattle.
Never again
It's not fitting for a partner in the Ukrainian War to show up today in The Netherlands. Awful and wrong symbolism of freedom.

Zelenskyy meets with International Criminal Court, Dutch leaders in surprise visit
Unprecedented as an impartial investigation should take place, Zelensky as party to war in Ukraine, will visit the ICC courts. Will we get visits from George Bush, Dick Cheney, Netanyahu or one of his generals, Palestinian leader Abbas or Syrian president Bashar al-Assad??? Both America and Israel have threatened the ICC Court with subversion and military violence.
