Well, I might actually start posting here again, but first I'd like to clarify a couple of points from the Global Financial Crisis Wars of the good old days 15+ years ago:

  1. I'm standing pat with my position that financial ring-fencing is a form of protectionism.  I'll continue to maintain a sovereign currency is a product, and its not being booked as such is more ancient metaphysics than present reality.

  2. I need to clarify a point that caused a number of debates.  When I referred then, and refer now, to a need for hard assets, I was not referring to their being needed in order for a sovereign currency to function.  I was talking about their being needed for financial institutions to fully participate in their side of currency creation.
