Probably not.  Others in his administration certainly would (Looking at you, Miller.), but not TTL.  If he's in something, he's only there for the grift, so his purpose behind such a threat is create market churn he and his insiders can play with.  He'll TACO out tomorrow, after he's placed his counter bets.

But that doesn't mean he has a plan, and there is a growing mountain of evidence that he wouldn't recognize a plan if one walked into his gilded toilet bowl of an office in the form of an underage beauty contestant.  As George Swill says in the clip in Oui's post, TTL is lashing out in all directions, including at J.D. Bedbug.  But even Swill, who helped create this abomination and still sails very close to the hurricane, can't see all that's going on.  Yes, Bedbug is supposed to be the future, and in a desperate attempt to survive is trying to create some space from TTL.  When TTL TACOs on the current threat, I expect to hear reports of Bedbug having a sharp phone conversation with Netanyahu,  which will happen about as much as the first sharp conversation did a week ago.  And he'll claim to be taking a brave stand and further claim that's why TTL's attacking him.

But that isn't it at all.  TTL doesn't care about a successor.  He doesn't want a future.  He wants to be the end of the line.  He wants Le Deluge.  Because somewhere in that festering disease pit he uses for a mind, he knows that anyone who follows him will have to do something to him that he has never had to do: face consequences.  Anyone who follows will be governing a train wreck full of Dumpster fires, all caused by TTL, and they'll have to put the blame exactly where it belongs if for no other reason than self preservation.  And even if TTL is physically gone and it's just his reputation taking the hit, his massive but massively fragile ego can't handle that.  So he's lashing out in all directions.  Like a wounded rat in a trap.
