After weeks of coverage on the "violent" "riots" "afflicting" Paris and, indeed, the entire backward, socialist nation of France, the US media seems to have gotten word from someone IN PARIS!
Crisis? What Crisis? April in Paris okay for most
Besides the April part on, this headline (from Yahoo's frontpage) is exactly what I responded to EVERY family member over holidays after their worried questions about the carburnings of the fall. Unfortunately they've got the same kind of coverage for the recent anti-CPE battle.. but as I said, someone seems to have gotten through to them.
The article isn't perfect but it's a definite step in the right direction in that the story is not centered around the violence at the front 2% of the protest.
