I moved to France recently, with mostly very happy results, but I seem to have made one huge mistake in signing up with France Telecom and Orange. I lose my internet connection several times a day, and emailing has turned into a nightmare. The man who installed my hated Livebox admitted he knew nothing about Macs, which may be part of the problem, but a long session on the phone with the "helpline" - ha! - has made things worse.
Tomorrow I'm going into Beaune (my nearest town) to raise as much hell as my French will allow, but I'm already thinking of changing to another ISP. If any of the French-based EuroTribbers could spare a moment to advise me, I'd be most grateful.
